The Boarded Veterinary Surgeons at Village Oak Veterinary Hospital are dedicated to providing your pet with the highest quality care. Our facility is equipped to allow our doctors and staff to provide your pet with state-of-the-art surgical procedures such as cranial cruciate ligament repair (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO), medial patella luxation repair, and soft tissue surgeries. From complex procedures to fracture repair, our surgical technicians will work closely with the surgeons to ensure your pet will receive the best pre and post-operative care with great attention to patient comfort and pain control.
Surgical patients are often referred to our facility by local veterinarians or emergency services. If your pet is referred to our surgical service, your pets’ medical record, laboratory work, radiographs, and previous history will all be beneficial to our surgical staff when consulting with you. Once we have received the referral we will contact your regular veterinarian to request this information.
Once you have consulted with your primary care veterinarian and they have referred your pet to our surgical team, you can call Village Oak Veterinary Hospital and request our surgical coordinator. If she is unavailable, you may leave your name and phone number and she will contact you shortly.
During your consultationOur surgeon will review the medical record and radiographs prior to examination of your pet. Following the surgical consult, we will present you with a printed surgical treatment plan, and if all is agreed upon, a surgery time can be set.
